Account & Data Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of all data associated with your device. To request data deletion:

  1. Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request"
  2. Include your device type (iPhone/Android) and app version if possible
  3. We will process your request within 30 days

Data that will be deleted: device fingerprint, usage counters, Firebase Authentication account, Firestore records, and associated analytics data.

Note: Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. After deletion, your free tier usage count will be reset if you reinstall the app.

Cancel Your Subscription

Subscriptions are managed through your device's app store. To cancel:

iOS (iPhone / iPad)

  1. Open Settings on your device
  2. Tap your Apple ID at the top
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Select Photo Scale AI and tap Cancel Subscription

Android

  1. Open the Google Play Store app
  2. Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Select Photo Scale AI and tap Cancel subscription

Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period. You will continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.

How does the measurement work?

Photo Scale AI uses advanced AI (powered by OpenAI) to analyze your photos and estimate measurements. Simply take a clear photo of the object, and our AI will provide an estimate of its weight, length, or count depending on the mode you select.

How accurate are the measurements?

Measurements are AI-generated estimates and vary based on photo quality, lighting, angle, and object type. They are intended for reference purposes only and should not be used for commercial, medical, or safety-critical decisions.

What data do you collect?

We collect minimal, anonymous data: a device identifier (for abuse prevention), usage statistics, and basic device information. We do not collect your name, email, or any personally identifiable information. Photos are processed in memory and never stored. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Are my photos stored or used for AI training?

No. Photos are transmitted securely, analyzed in memory, and immediately discarded. They are never stored on our servers or any database, and are not used for AI model training.

Why do I need an internet connection?

Photo Scale AI relies on cloud-based AI to analyze your photos. An active internet connection is required to send photos for analysis and receive measurement results.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) per their respective refund policies. Please contact them directly through your device's app store to request a refund.
